Dino Propaganda - Koopas Ridin' Dirty

Well, it doesn't really involve time travel, but it does have alternate dimensions. And that's why Super Mario Brothers is the Greatest Movie EVER.

Chimps may be the height of hilarity, but they're not monkeys. Nor are gorillas, orangutans, gibbons or bonobos (all apes) or lemurs (they're...lemurs).

Sorry, but being married to a physical anthropologist with a grad school background in primatology compels me to do so. I think it's some kind of implant.

Any gimmick controller automatically gets associated with the Power Glove. Childhood trauma and all that.

Jeff, you are absolutely correct. We know chimps are apes, not monkeys. We simply used the term "monkey" because that is the term that Koopa and his minions incorrectly applied in the film. Also, "monkey" is infinitely funnier when said aloud than "ape".

I cannot argue with that flawless logic, good sir. Nor can I argue with Hollywood's flawed logic, no matter how much I try.

And just so we're keeping track, the nerd cred of this podcast is once again severely undermined by the fact that, during a review of Super Mario Brothers, you had a cohost who did not know what the Super Mario Brothers Super Show was and had never heard of either Captain Lou Albano or "Do the Mario." They did however know how DREAMY John Leguizamo was, so their presence would be greatly welcome during the inevitable review of The Pest.

Dead weight, man. I'm telling you. Also, brick is not the same thing as stone! Buncha sadists...
